At RSU, we strive to develop and improve our services that we offer you by involving views from you and your families/carers. For this reason, we also like to share with you personal experiences from stroke survivors and their families/carers.

We also include some short videos from other sites that we find useful which may help you understand stroke and how it affects stroke survivors.

Stroke Survivors' Survey 2005 by the Healthcare Commission

The NHS patient survey advice centre at the Picker Institute (Europe) had been commissioned by the Healthcare Commission to conduct a Patient Survey for a period of three months (April to June 2004). This survey took place in one third of NHS Trusts in England.

The report of this Survey was published in July 2005. You can download the findings of this Survey here.
